Four machines, no model-number maze
Portable Oxygen Concentrators
Three portable oxygen concentrators for everyday breathing comfort: a lightweight 33% travel model, a quiet 33% home unit, and a battery-powered 93% portable oxygen machine that runs without a wall socket. Buy direct and get free US shipping, 30-day returns and phone support from a real person.
How to choose a portable oxygen concentrator
Two numbers decide it: oxygen concentration and weight. Room air is about 21% oxygen. Our 33% models add light enrichment; the 93% model delivers high-concentration oxygen closer to prescribed home oxygen, a bigger difference than weight or noise, explained in what oxygen concentration actually means. Then decide whether you need it to run off a battery: only the Battery-Powered 93% does. If every place you will use it has an outlet, a corded model is lighter and simpler.
All three are continuous-flow O2 concentrators rather than pulse-dose, so they are simple to use and fine for rest and overnight. See continuous flow vs pulse dose and how to choose a portable oxygen concentrator.
Travel oxygen concentrators
For a travel oxygen concentrator, weight and carrying are what matter. The Lightweight 33% travel set is 3.3 lb and the Battery-Powered 93% is the one to pick when there may be no outlet. Planning to fly? These are not sold with airline approval, so check your airline's portable oxygen policy before you book. Home oxygen concentrators
For home use, the quiet NT-5 runs at about 52 dB, so it can sit in a living room or bedroom without drowning out conversation. It is a home oxygen concentrator you can still carry to another room or into the car when needed.
